Health and hair loss - there is a connection between the two, and one that you can fix. Many people who are not eating correctly are probably going to experience more than the normal amount of hair loss. People who go on crash diets are holding back important nutrients that their body needs.
People who crash diet may suffer a deficiency in the types of nutrients the body needs. You can find other ways besides a crash diet that will help you lose weight and help you keep your hair at the same time. However, many other health reasons can be behind your hair loss.
Many people can suffer from temporary hair loss after they've gone through surgery. Most times however it will grow back fairly quickly. The same applies to women who have just given birth. These are only a temporary situations and soon your hair should start to grow back.
Another thing that has been found to be a cause of hair loss in women is PCOS. Polycystic Ovary Syndrome is a cause of many other problems too, but some women notice a severe case of hair loss. You may need to go to the doctor and see what can be done to help.
Hormone problems will lead to hair loss too. Too much DHT being produced may lead to the hair not growing as it should. Since you already lose approximately 100 hairs each day, when new hair isn't growing you're going to see hair thinning. Medicines or herbs can be taken to help out with this problem.
In order to get past that you will need to control the stress, or get something to help cure your hair loss. Adding a product that has biotin in it may help out with this. Shampoo or conditioners now have biotin in them. You can also look for a supplement that has biotin in it that works to reduce the stress level.
Certain serious diseases can be linked to excessive hair loss, Lupus and Diabetes being two examples. Just to be safe, you need to rule them out as well by going to a professional medical practitioner.
